A one of kind, not to be missed Editor-in-Chief opportunity has arisen with one the leading digital publishers in the health and wellness space. The primary focus of this instrumental role will be to lead the strategic and creative phase of growth of the business, taking full ownership of the content strategy. It will suit a forward thinking, highly experienced leader with wealth of editorial and journalistic experience, looking to join a truly unique organization at the exciting time or change and expansion.




Main responsibilities:

  • To develop the editorial strategy and oversee the creation of all content in cooperation with the VP of content, managing editor and brand leadership
  • To lead a team of talented editors, reporters, writers and other creatives to ensure the best quality and consistency of the produced content
  • To collaborate with in house Marketing, Product and design teams to ensure the creation of the most outstanding user experience
  • To partner with the SEO and Social teams to create the most effective distribution strategy
  • To support larger business initiatives by promoting key brand values including excellence and empathy
  • P&L management and budget creation
  • Based in Brighton

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior editorial leadership role, preferably with news experience for digital publisher
  • Talented storyteller with proven track record of developing and writing high quality engaging content, optimized for various social media platforms
  • Strategic mindset with an innovative approach
  • Interest in and understanding of data analytics paired with a strong creative flair
  • Empathetic and inspiring leader with hands on approach
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Passion for health and wellness
