Marketing Assistant
London - Office based
£28,000 - £32,000
We are looking for an ambitious Marketing Assistant to join an exciting and fast-growing luxury yacht brokerage based in London. With offices based internationally to serve their global client base, their mission is to combine the traditional yachting values with next generation technology.
As Marketing Assistant you will play a key role in both the marketing team and the wider business. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will support the development and implementation of the marketing strategies, focusing on growing the brand within one of the most exciting industries, and increasing exposure amongst their target customer demographic. As Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the wider marketing team to maintain all marketing assets and deliver effecting and impactful marketing campaigns.
Key responsibilities
- Maintaining, updating and expanding the content across the website. Ensuring that content is up to date and accurate, and that all copy is of high quality, engaging and optimised for search engines.
- Work with the Marketing Executives to deliver broadcast email plans, ensuring schedules are aligned.
- Work with the Head of Marketing and Social Media Manager to create and manage content across all social media channels. Supporting with the management of the content calendar, managing community spaces, engaging with followers and responding to questions.
- Help co-ordinate the brand presence at various events and shows throughout the year, putting together schedules/itineraries, organising events, and identifying marketing content requirements.
- Support the wider Marketing Team in maintaining all company brand assets, profiles and collateral. Ensuring it is always kept up to date, relevant and fresh.
Skills required
- Excellent copy writing and proof reading skills essential.
- CMS experience (WordPress or similar desirable)
- Visual content creation skills essential
- Experience in yachting, high end/experiential travel or other luxury business preferred
- Educated to degree level or equivalent marketing qualification
As Marketing Assistant you will have a strong attention to detail and creative flair. To be successful you must be able to demonstrate sound organisation skills and flexibility, and a capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
