Our client is a successful, market-leading UK and international law firm who are looking for an ambitious and creative Marketing & Business Development Executive to join the team.

Working closely with one of their top BD Managers, they are looking for someone with the experience and confidence to support the development and implementation of the firm's marketing and BD strategy, specifically within the Marine, Trade and Energy team.

Headquartered in Central London, they are offering flexible working and have offices across the country and overseas in Singapore, Paris and Madrid, to name just a few.

The Marketing & BD Executive will:

  • Help the Business Development Manager on the development and execution of practice and sector plans, also keeping abreast of industry and market developments.
  • Research prospective clients and new markets
  • Use the CRM system to maintain/update and report on the teams' sales pipelines
  • Manage legal directory and award submissions
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager, Marketing and Communications and the Events team to raise the profile of the firm through various channels including thought leadership, client newsletters, articles, podcasts, webinars, seminars, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Produce client materials including team sheets, fact sheets, pitch documents and promotional flyers.
  • Manage and deliver email marketing campaigns and report on readership statistics
  • Create social media posts and update the website and intranet

Required skills and experiences:

  • 2+ years experience in a marketing or business development role within professional services (ideally law/legal)
  • Experience or interest within the Marine, Trade, Energy or Shipping industry would also be advantageous
  • A self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and an ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercially minded with excellent written skills for client-facing documents, including a strong eye for design, editing and content
  • Able to effectively prioritise with excellent project management skills
