Retail Marketing Manager - Surrey

A British multinational retailer company with over 140 high street stores in the UK are looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to join their business.

An incredibly exciting opportunity for a Retail Marketing Manager to join the team. Accountable for the execution of the Marketing strategy and management of the brand, to deliever a compelling customer experience across Retail and online.

Working with the Heads for Retail, Creative and Visual Merchandising teams as well as PR and Social team, to deliver our marketing plans. Ensuring that all messaging and activity is on brand, across our internal teams and that customers are at the heart of everything we do.

Accountable for the delivery of the multi-channel marketing plan, managing seasonal marketing campaigns from conception through to delivery and key product launches. You will also be responsible for overseeing the coordination of all local marketing including store openings . Emphasis will be on retail; working closely with the Retail Visual Merchandising Manager you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience in store.

You will be expected to develop and nurture strong relationships acting as a brand ambassador externally and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective and timely delivery of all activities. You will need to keep abreast of direct and indirect competitors and attend industry marketing events and seminars to keep up to date with innovations and movements in the market place.

Activities:

  • Develop and define campaign objectives and KPIs, to compliment the Annual Marketing Calendar.
  • Work alongside the Buying & Merchandising team to define the seasonal promotional plan and fit for the intended target customer.
  • Working closely with the Retail Visual Merchandising Manager, enhance the in-store customer experience with appropriate POS development at each touchpoint. Execute in-store campaign collateral as required.
  • Work with the Content/Copy team to ensure all customer-facing messaging across each channel is relevant.
  • Alongside the Online team, brief and develop all Online marketing requirements including landing pages, content spots and campaign/brand-engaging tactics.
  • Develop marketing messages and content for the seasonal catalogue.
  • Deliver all stakeholder communications, including store and internal.
  • Lead the Core Delivery Team to ensure all campaign activities and assets are delivered for execution in each channel, on time, in full and to budget.
  • To deliver cross-channel marketing plans to support key product launches.
  • Developing and implementing the retail marketing plan, project managing regional and local marketing events and the store openings/closures program.
  • Identify relevant potential third party relationships and proactively develop new Brand partnerships for marketing collaborations.
  • Budget management.
