Are you a recruitment consultant looking for a new challenge?

EMR, the UK's leading specialist marketing communications recruitment agency, is looking to hire a recruitment consultant for their communications practice.

What do they do?

EMR, founded in 1994, are the UK's top-ranked marketing, communications, digital and tech recruitment agency. They are well known by clients and candidates alike. Their reputation means they have an unrivalled level of inbound business to keep even the keenest business developers busy with live roles.

The communications practice recruit in-house professionals across corporate communications, internal communications, PR and media relations, investor relations, public affairs and content teams for the world's best known listed and private brands.

What is on offer?

EMR offer a competitive base salary, plus an uncapped commission scheme of up to 35% per quarter, with no threshold. The role

The successful candidate will represent EMR in a professional manner when dealing with clients, candidates and colleagues to provide a high quality tailored recruitment service. They will create and develop a network that will achieve business objectives and revenue targets, contributing to their team's and EMR's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source candidates
  • Track and record client and candidate information adhering to database processes
  • Key account management with existing and new clients through regular communication and client visits
  • New business development through a variety of BD techniques, generating new jobs to ensure ongoing revenue opportunities for you and the wider business
  • Negotiate fee rates in line with the company authority matrix
  • Write and place effective recruitment advertisements
  • Engage with your network to promote and support business initiatives, such as EMR's Comms Coffee Clubs
  • Build a senior candidate network
  • Meet sales/NFI targets in line with the business plan, personal objectives and monthly 1:1 meeting with manager
  • Service Excellence

What is EMR looking for?

  • 6+ months of recruitment or sales experience
  • Superb communications skills, with the ability to manage clients and candidates effectively
  • An ambitious personality with a natural drive to create success
  • A proven interest in communications
