The role will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of a fully integrated and optimally timed launch programme for our new brand strategy to ensure this manifests across the full range of activity. This may include brand advertising, fundraising events, services marketing, physical environments, digital platforms, key merchandise, policy and influencing, media, corporate partnerships as well as the update of branded materials for launch and beyond including updated information, templates, merchandise, collateral and assets across the organisation.

The role will employ the project and programme lifecycle processes and manage deployment of dedicated programme resources.

The role will support the Portfolio Management Office, change and programme management community to manage cross programme dependencies, risks and issues.

Duties to include:

  1. Work with the Programme Sponsor, the Corporate PMO Team, Business Leads and resource providers to ensure the overall success of the programme and achievement of agreed deliverables, timescales and benefits.
  2. Be responsible for the day to day management of the programme, often acting on behalf of the Sponsor.
  3. Ensure benefits management, financial management, risk management, assurance, evaluation, resource management and best practice project and programme management throughout the delivery of assigned programmes.
  4. Deliver the programme on time, overseeing the development of a programme plan in line with programme and project management processes, including associated reporting, risk plan, stakeholder analysis and communication plan, and ensure that the plan is adequately resourced, developing business cases as required.
  5. Establish credibility, relationships and build support amongst the programme's stakeholders and the wider change community.
  6. Manage the identification, procurement and management of external consultants and agencies as required. Manage contracts with them, building a strong partnership founded on trust, support and challenge, and ensuring that the brand gets maximum value and learning from its investments
  7. Ensure the programme delivers to budget, managing the budget and resources deployed within the programme, maintaining robust estimates on the total cost and spend throughout its lifecycle.
  8. Be an active part of the Project and Programme Manager Support Network, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, shared learning and continuous improvement.
  9. Follow and establish best practice approach to change programme management and incorporate into lifecycle coaching staff in best practice
  10. Work closely with managers across all teams in Creative Services, lead the planning, delivery and integration of all branded materials beyond the initial launch to ensure they fully reflect the new brand proposition and identity.
