A fantastic financial services brand is looking for an experienced marketing manager to join their business. As a Marketing Manager, you will report to the managing director and be responsible for developing innovative and commercially led marketing strategies. This is a standalone role which would suit an experienced, confident and hands-on marketer. You will be responsible for driving forward the marketing strategy for the company and be a positive, creative, self-starter who is happy working in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Develop the annual marketing and PR strategy in line with business objectives
  • Devise advertising and marketing strategies
  • Manage and set the annual marketing budget
  • Manage service providers to deliver marketing strategy including - design, creative, search, collateral and social & PR
  • Responsibility for content on all social media channels i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Develop and build relationships with publishers and journalists to aid in/manage PR strategy
  • Monitor results of eMail campaigns and develop ways to improve results to drive marketing and business strategy
  • CMS of the website and develop ways to improve the website to drive more traffic
  • Utilise CRM system to maintain contact with broker database
  • PPC & SEO management and monitoring results
  • Management of marketing events and participation in trade shows and seminars
  • Management of Award submissions
  • Ad-hoc marketing projects

Role Requirements:

  • Strong broad marketing experience across traditional and digital channels
  • Experience in managing and driving marketing strategy within the financial or professional services industry
  • Experience in Property Finance is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of building close working relationships
  • Flexible working approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects often to tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • Knowledge and experience of using Word Press CMS

This role is based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire in a forward-thinking financial services business. You will have the opportunity to lead the marketing function in an autonomous environment.
