Marketing Manager - B2C Consumer Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Support development, and effective execution of the marketing strategy and targets for the relevant business area
  • Achievement of marketing targets in line with agreed targets for the relevant business area
  • Responsible for supporting and implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans for all products sold through the relevant channel, including the launch of new products as / if required
  • Support development of marketing strategies to ensure all opportunities are maximised, including managing our existing clients, as well as previous and new enquirers
  • Build a close working relationship with the relevant internal teams within and supporting the marketing team, (i.e. investment teams, client management, PR, retail client services) to co-ordinate, as appropriate, various activities including market research, PR, video, product and market analysis, literature, presentations, online, events
  • Support the development of the marketing strategy for the relevant channel that is client focussed and complements the relevant sales strategy and meets business objectives, and to deliver them within budget
  • Proactively develop and drive marketing activity to support relevant channel utilising (where appropriate) external client and competitor research, and building on previous learnings / market developments
  • Drive and closely monitor promotionally led activity by media / area to ensure effective ROI on all campaigns

Requirements:

  • Solid B2C campaign experience in retail financial services / consumer financial services / insurance
  • Good knowledge of the investment management / retail savings ideally, however retail financial services would also be considered
  • Solid experience of BTL - experience of ATL would be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of marketing including experience of the full media mix, promotions and communications
  • Experience of managing external 3rd party relationships and internal stakeholders / partners
  • High level of negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven project management skills with a track record of delivery to time and within budget
  • Experience of presenting and communicating on a regular basis to senior management and clients
  • Proven skills in implementing marketing strategy within relevant channel
  • UK experience only please
