Bond Street-based student accommodation brand driving their full marketing offering as the team grows in 2018.

Overview

This role presents the opportunity to join one of the leading international real estate firms, work on their new student brand across the UK and Ireland.

You will be supporting the Head of Marketing and Residence teams in a varied and fast paced role, with a strong focus on social media and other digital media, in addition to direct offline marketing activity, PR and events.

This role is perfect for an all-rounder, combining both traditional and digital marketing skills across various channels to ensure the smooth coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives across the portfolio. It's an opportunity to learn and develop in a thriving sector.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy including residence team training across all social media channels.
  • Ensure all social channels are regularly evaluated and organic content is of a high quality, relevant and regularly produced across the portfolio.
  • Monitor and report on online chat functionality providing staff training where required.
  • Assist the HoM in evaluation of campaign success and monthly reporting on ROI of digital marketing spend.
  • Assist the HoM to deliver monthly and annual web reports.
  • Manage listing portals and third-party ads to ensure ROI and brand awareness are maximised.
  • Copywriting - we're looking for a digital storyteller who can write about our product confidently in our tone of voice. You will produce well written creative copy and messaging for online campaigns across all channels to maximise brand awareness.
  • Compose email copy for marketing campaigns in liaison with the Graphic Designer.
  • CMS maintenance, assisting with updates across the website to ensure our customers experience the best customer journey and receive accurate information.
  • Manage all promotional and print suppliers, implementing quality control to ensure the standard of branded material excels.
  • Assist in the production of show suite photo shoots and video elements across the portfolio.
  • Media planning, coordination and management
  • Source new advertising and marketing opportunities.
  • Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes, social media and the marketing mix used by competitors.
  • Perform national competitive research required for annual rent setting and assist throughout the process.
  • Events management to include the planning and coordination of marketing requirements for;
    • Residence events
    • Student housing fairs nationally
    • Fresher's fairs nationally
    • Attendance at the above events throughout the year is a requirement of the role and therefore travel may be required.
  • Assist with day to day marketing tasks, coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of working in a student marketing role, with any product or service
  • Social Media experience
  • Experience using Hootsuite, Wordpress, Mailchimp and Google Analytics advantageous.
  • Photoshop and InDesign skills advantageous.
  • Highly organised and efficient with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to present written information clearly and logically.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to adapt to change and respond positively to new challenges.
  • Ability to prioritise work appropriately and juggle a busy workload.
  • Energetic, flexible and determined to champion the values of the brands.
  • Must work effectively as part of a team and show initiative.
