An iconic London travel business is looking for a PR specialist for the UK and a number of International markets that includes America. The company is privately owned, cash rich and growing year on year and has a very "hands on" type of culture. You'd be based in their International HQ in Central London and be part of a close knit team.

You will be responsible for creating and owning the strategy to help local teams develop the existing social media and PR channels. You will also identify new opportunities in order to improve brand awareness for the brand globally covering both potential customers and trade partners.

Your duties will include:

  • Define global social media strategies, helping local teams with implementation and management globally.
  • Drive PR strategy covering consumers and trade, using engaging and innovative campaigns to help promote the brand globally and ultimately help toward business revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement tone of voice guidelines and best content principles across social and PR channels that can be used globally.
  • Campaign management, working closely with key stakeholders/teams to ensure any campaigns are fully integrated, meet objectives and deliver ROI.
  • Work closely with local operations teams to help them appropriately manage excellent levels of customer service on relevant social platforms.
  • Set KPIs to measure success of social media channels and campaigns. Monitor activities and performance of social platforms, regularly producing and sharing analytics reports.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and competitor brands and report on findings, using this to contribute to campaign strategy and planning.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with appropriate media contacts in order to help secure relevant media coverage amongst key verticals.
  • Write and edit statements, press releases, contributed stories, presentations and other PR materials.
  • Manage a global editorial calendar and help local teams develop relevant and engaging content to be used across online channel which aids search engine optimisation.
  • Develop and implement a brand research and tracking programme that will monitor the brand and build an understanding of brand perception.
