Leading hotel chain are looking for a results orientated interim Head of Marketing to take responsibility of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to increase profitability for 6 months.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You must be able to demonstrate clear strategic thinking, yet remain hands on. You will need to be able to work in an entrepreneurial set up that has high growth ambitions.
  • You have experience developing and executing consumer/customer focused marketing communications plans, on & off line.
  • You can drive consumer/customer propositions through all digital channels via a CRM platform.
  • You have experience ensuring the full co-ordination of online and offline marketing activity.
  • You can work effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that the Marketing and Communications strategy/activity is aligned with other areas of the business to maximise revenues and profitability.
  • You can ensure development of consumer and trade communications and marketing through all available channels including digital.
  • You will be confident working with internal resources and external marketing and advertising agencies to develop strategic campaigns aimed at driving revenue growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • You will champion the brand's profile and positioning to establish the brand and maintain its presence in the minds of the target internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will work with the Trading Director to agree the strategy for marketing, and then create strong and effective plans, over-seeing delivery, tracking success and reporting back to the exec team.
  • You will take full ownership of marketing in terms of briefing requirements and ensuring that cost efficiency/value is achieved with external parties.
  • You will develop the Social Media Strategy and manage the implementation, overseeing communities, responding to individuals, social listening, creating and posting of content and encouraging engagement.
  • You will plan and implement effective PR campaigns.
  • You will manage website content and updates as required.
  • You will also manage the customer relationship in terms of queries and complaints via each hotel and social media streams.
  • You will compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • You will analyse post promotional campaign data and make recommendations for future promotional campaigns.
  • You will design and complete quarterly franchising newsletter data & copy collation.
  • You will manage the brand guidelines through other departments.
