Group marketing leadership role connecting customers with the brands, and your team with sales and product internally.

Role Purpose:

This is a role to consolidate and improve the tech and data brands marketing to the property and legal space within a Group function, to strengthen UX and internal relationships with Sales and Product.

You will develop and implement a corporate marketing strategy for the Group and its sub-brands that drives the engagement of our target markets and audiences in an efficient and effective manner. To achieve this will involve using the full range of the B2B marketing mix, utilising resources from within the marketing function, external agencies and other stakeholders across the group to develop thought leadership and value propositions.

Main Objectives:

  • To own the development and execution of a marketing strategy and plan that supports delivery of Group short and long-term goals, objectives and financial targets. This will cover all brands and products across a range of target markets
  • To ensure the creation and implementation of cohesive marketing programs across brands and target audiences that ensure clients understand and value the range of product and services offered
  • To support growth in sales so that budgeted margin and profit targets are met
  • Devise and implement plans to improve the overall customer engagement and online experience as well as create strategies to support the acquisition, growth and renewal of lapsed clients
  • Define and implement all branded communications across all appropriate channels
  • Work as part of the Senior Management Team and support the hiring, development, on-boarding and coaching of Marketing teams across the Group.
  • Support the GTM strategy development and execution for existing and new products/capabilities and businesses alongside cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Be a subject matter expert and develop wider business knowledge
  • Influence on strategy and budgets
  • Innovate across department operations or within product/service, identifying opportunities from external sources/research

Guideline Competencies:

  • A highly experienced commercial marketer who is able to balance a range of sometimes conflicting priorities and work within a complex internal framework with multiple stakeholders
  • Significant demonstrable experience of inspiring, leading and managing a team. Including the ability manage a team to achieve commercial targets
  • Exceptional communication & influencing skills and ability tailor style and delivery appropriate to the audience
  • Highly organised and enjoys bringing order to seemingly chaotic situations & processes
  • High levels of customer service
  • Ability to manage and lead external agency teams as well as internal staff
  • Range of leadership and business skills, acts as coach and mentor
  • Accountable for decisions/actions not only for self, but others

Qualifications & Training

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline, CIM preferred
  • Evidence of ongoing learning
  • Significant line management and team leadership experience, preferably international and remote reports
  • Marketing Automation tools
  • Salesforce experience
