The role sits within their Data Hub which acts a support function to the business. You will have a lot of variety within your role as you will work over a range of different brands. Working with the Lead Analyst you will work together to help deliver the business's BI Vision. This role will be at the forefront of BI Evangelism, up skilling the business in their use of data and how this can help make better informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver meaningful insight and actionable recommendations, presented with confidence and succinctness
  • Develop Reports and Dashboards using visualisation tools such Power BI/ Google Data Studio to bring meaningful insight to stakeholders
  • Using SQL and the Azure DWH, cleanse, wrangle and join data from a variety of sources such as Google Analytics, Permutive, ACORN and Subscription Purchases to provide insight from a 360° Customer View
  • Select and deploy appropriate analytical and statistical techniques to help with a range of tasks including but not restricted to:
  1. Segmentation
  2. Trend analysis to identify patterns in behaviour
  3. Customer profiling
  4. Lifetime value
  5. Customer Journey Analysis
  • Contribute to the implementation and delivery of a newly formed Business Intelligence strategy, providing on-going insights and actionable recommendations to promote positive change
  • Contribute to the reporting and analytical requirements of the digital workstreams
  • Communicate with key business stake holders and encourage the company to do more with its information and foster deep information literacy throughout the business
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices and new technologies

Knowledge and Experience

  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex analysis results and processes to non-technical audiences in a clear and positive manner
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, showing task prioritisation and ownership
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with and combine multiple data sources to answer key business questions
  • Knowledge of database structures and relational databases
  • Experience working with complex datasets from a variety of source
  • Strong skills in data cleansing, reformatting and wrangling
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Strong visualisation skills - Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Experience of managing stakeholders at various levels
