Truly unique opportunity to join one of most loved and known UK gaming businesses as a Consumer Communications Manager on 12 months FTC basis. This role will best suit an experienced communications manager with broad knowledge of national and regional consumer media, looking to join a successful and growing business.

Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate business relevant coverage in wide range of media
  • Assist the consumer communications team in development and execution of specific strategies to support business plan
  • Minimise negative media coverage and encourage positive coverage to develop long term positive perception of the brand
  • Autonomously develop and implement media campaigns
  • Manage campaign expenditures within the budget
  • Provide guidance and expertise to support publicity planning and implementation
  • Assist consumer communications team to coordinate events and supplier briefings
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the team to build and manage brand's corporate reputation and raise awareness

Person requirements:

  • Experience in successfully executing publicity strategy and objectives
  • Proven knowledge of all national and regional consumer media
  • Track record and proven ability to manage complex media issues in a commercial and high paced environment
  • Media trained and able to act as a company spokesperson
  • Ability to produce high impact written materials
  • Out of the box thinking with can do attitude
  • Organised and strategic approach
