A leading global institution is looking for an Employee Communications, Channels & Content Manager to join their Operations & Technology Employee Communications team based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be instrumental in shaping the communications function.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the Operations & Technology business.
  • Define stakeholders' communications requirements and provide them with advice and counsel.
  • Develop a good understanding of the business' strategic goals, performance and audiences, and translate that knowledge into clear and compelling communications.
  • Support the implementation of the O&T communications strategy and plans, by leading on the creation of content and dissemination of messages through the appropriate channels, including both digital and face to face.
  • Provide input into and lead the execution of the O&T channels strategy, working the central Channels team as appropriate.
  • Lead creation and maintenance of O&T-wide channels and content plan, and manage both planning and editorial meetings.
  • Source content from and manage various contributors to ensure effective and timely delivery of key communications activities.
  • Support the VP, Leadership Communications on the effective implementation of the Leadership Communications Programme, helping build and develop the online platform, and creating content and collateral as appropriate.
  • Work with internal and external suppliers on the delivery of creative content, such as videos, info-graphics, etc.
  • Work closely with communications leads within O&T to help evaluate the reach, efficiency and effectiveness of channels and communications in achieving communication objectives.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a range of communications disciplines, including in a dedicated internal/employee communications role, experience in a large national or global corporate organisation, experience of channels strategy and audience segmentation and experience in delivering change and crisis communications. You will also have experience in defining and implementing channels strategies in line with business and communications objectives, successfully influencing, managing and persuading stakeholders, planning, developing and delivering strategic employee communications and plans, and in managing creative agencies and suppliers. You will have excellent writing skills for a variety of audiences, channels and leadership styles, understanding of measurement approaches to assess effectiveness, and will be able to think creatively and solve problems with tight deadlines.
