Description

As a key member of the marketing team, the successful candidate will work closely with the digital designer and wider team, and have the chance to influence the way the brand is represented on its web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Continual improvement and enhancement of websites
  • Optimisation of site design and code elements for search, tagging and tracking
  • Creation of new web elements to support marketing activity including test programme, SEO, advertising etc.
  • Designing and building bulk emails to be delivered by third party mailing solutions, e.g. MailChimp
  • Ideas for increasing conversion rates and user engagement
  • Resolution of bugs and errors
  • Proactive approach to website management and product development
  • Build of new websites (mobile-first, responsive) and platforms as required, working with the designer
  • Working with software development team on projects
  • Working with third parties on web development projects
  • Close collaboration with the designer to create site features, such as embeddable surveys, custom animations and price estimation form

Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing modern, web sites with the latest technologies, including HTML5, CSS3+, JavaScript, libraries and frameworks
  • Must have experience building responsive websites and SPAs with a mobile-first approach
  • Working knowledge of coding for WordPress and managing WordPress websites
  • Experience coding HTML marketing emails for a wide range of email clients
  • Up to date understanding of requirements for improving site SEO
  • Angular (Desirable)
  • UX design experience (Desirable)
  • RESTful API interaction (Desirable)
  • UK experience (essential)
