Do you have experience working within the IT, mobile or telecommunication industries? Have you developed and delivered marketing programmes involving internal/external comms and marketing?

If so, this international association representing the major players in the tech and telecommunication industries is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager initially on a contract until the end of March 2015. This position has significant potential to role over on a yearly basis.

The role of the Marketing Communications Manager is to translate technical and commercial ideas into successful programmes that make a real difference to the membership base. Working on more than one technical programme at a time this will involve:

  • Developing and delivering detailed and costed marketing plans
  • Delivering marketing activities the contribute to publicity, training and education
  • Providing marketing support to the business development team to help achieve their commercial goals

At a granular level this will involve:

  • Copywriting for digital/print
  • Design, development and production of marketing collateral
  • Organising events and conferences as well as attendance at these events and potential speaking opportunities
  • Website content sourcing, management and updates

The successful candidate will have worked within the IT, telecommunications or mobile related industries. You will have developed and delivered complex plans incorporating marketing, internal and external comms. You will possess excellent project management skills and have a 'can do' attitude. You will have strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate with C level stakeholders. Those with international experience will be at an advantage.
