Marketing Director
Doncaster - Office based
£90,000
EMR has partnered with a popular Entertainment and Tourist Destination in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Their mission is to create a vibrant, interactive experience and regional centre of excellence. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to join the business and oversee the digital marketing strategy and drive growth across various online platforms.
As Marketing Director you will be creative, innovative, and have a strong background in digital marketing. You will have a proven track record of successfully implementing disruptive digital and social media campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and brand growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies across the different areas of the business, aligning with overall goals and objectives.
- Create and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns and strategies, regularly review analytical reports, and using data to improve campaign performance.
- Manage the company's social media accounts and oversee content creation for digital channels including the website, social media channels, e-mail marketing, and SMS.
- Oversee and manage the website design/development team and agency to ensure the company's online presence is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
- Partner with various internal and external stakeholders to create and implement paid advertising campaigns that will drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
The role of Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in the business, driving business development, and sitting in attendance at Board Meetings.
Skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing, with at least 5 years in a similar role. Digital agency background working on attractions/leisure/ travel/hospitality advantageous.
- Proven track record creating and executing comprehensive, creative and innovative digital marketing strategies that deliver results.
- In-depth knowledge of PPC, SEO, Social Media, Brand Building and Growth Marketing.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and strategy.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage and develop a team in house and with agencies.
To be successful as Marketing Director, you will be a disrupter with proven experience challenging the status-quo. You will be a flexible thinker with adaptable communication skills to work with different teams across the business.
The ideal candidate will be operating at Director level and is now ready to step up into the role.
