Job Description
A global financial services provider is seeking a Head of Corporate Communications to implement the global communications strategy.
This is a 12-month FTC.
Responsibilities:
- Help articulate the corporate story, in partnership with stakeholders across Marketing and the wider business
- Develop assets that articulate comms strategy
- Lead a team and implement a communications plan that supports the strategic objectives of the wider business
- Shape the internal communications strategy and oversee teams' delivery across specified regions
- Work with internal stakeholders to define the CSR narrative and design and implement campaigns and ensure wider narrative is implemented
- Oversee the delivery of key events and offsite for senior executives
- Measure the outcomes of communications initiatives internal targets
- Continuously challenge thinking on the very best communication solutions, seeking counsel and inspiration from other regions, to generate the right outcomes
- Play a valuable role in the UK and Leadership groups, representing the Communications team and making strategic contributions to strategic directions global marketing approach
- Be responsible for all aspects of the communications budget, ensuring forecasting and expenditure is managed effectively for optimal returns
- Lead the team to successfully deliver on annual plans, budgets and quarterly agile plans. This includes a strong focus on co-creation of plans across the team, ensuring all our Marketing and Communications plans are fully integrated and optimised
Requirements:
- B2B financial services is preferred ideally corporate, investment and private banking
- 10+ years experience in corporate communications, internal communications, digital marketing and content
- Line management experience is essential for this role
- Experience working in a matrix environment
- Proven experience of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and the ability to find solutions in seemingly conflicting situations
- A strong team player, willing to make positive contributions to global and local marketing leadership teams with a desire to collaborate for success
- Ability to think differently, with creative flair, to influence internal understanding of the importance of communications and brand
- No sponsorship will be given
