EMR are delighted to be working with an alternative investment platform who offer their clients a range of strategies across real estate, social housing and private credit. Since it's inception in 2016 the business has seen vast growth, and headcount has increased from 6 to 60 in the space of 8 years.

Due to the growth of the business and funds, they are looking to bring on board a new Investor Relations Analyst who, working in the wider dedicated investor relations team, will be tasked with performing a wide variety of duties centred around supporting the team with the day to day operations of the funds. This is an entry level/graduate position.

The investor relations team's remit is to communicate the actions and success of the business to their clients and other stakeholders. As the new Investor Relations Analyst, you will gain an insight into strategic level decision making and understand how investor engagement support underpins their business and that of their clients.

The newly appointed Investor Relations Analyst will gain rapid exposure to a variety of listed and unlisted structures and benefit from access to senior stakeholders, and you will be expected to take ownership of and be accountable for activities in the investor relations team. You will be fully supported and offered training if appropriate, along with development opportunities.

As the newly appointed Investor Relations Analyst, your duties and responsibilities will include :

  • Support the Investor Relations Team with the day-to-day operations of the funds.

  • Become an integral part of the team in all aspects of equity raises and transaction activity

  • Maintain the CRM system - create investor roadshow packs and record meeting notes

  • Engage with sell-side analysts and assist with consensus management.

  • Act as liaison between IR and departments across the company including New Business, Finance, Fund Management and Sustainability

  • Work with the Compliance department on new investor categorisation and all elements of due diligence.

  • Support the team with a high volume of new / existing investor requests including DDQs, RFPs, RFIs and ad hoc requests

  • Maintain a range of investor marketing materials (e.g. briefing notes, presentations, website, social media etc.)

  • Involvement with preparation of key investor events (e.g. results meetings, site visits, annual general meetings, networking events)

  • Support existing client relations through management of inboxes and CRM and coordinating responses in a timely manner.

  • Assist the IR Director in project managing the reporting processes for funds advised.

To be considered for the Investor Relations Analyst, your education, experience and personal attributes will include :

  • Degree educated, ideally with a minimum of a 2:1 preferably in subjects including business, economics, mathematics, accountancy, finance, statistics.

  • A confident, professional, and pragmatic approach

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • IT Literate, with a strong knowledge of full Microsoft office suite of programmes.

  • Ability to work within a team

  • Positive/flexible attitude and a willingness to learn

  • A quick thinker with a high level of initiative, who can adapt to changing work demands.

  • Attention to detail

You will stand apart if you have interest in, or knowledge around

  • Real estate, renewable energy investment, social housing investment or investment funds.

  • Strong excel familiarity and NPV & IRR concepts.

  • Ability to produce succinct and creative powerpoint presentations.

Base salary range between £40,000 & £45,000 per annum dependent on experience.
