Head of Marketing (8-Month Maternity Cover) - Global Membership Organisation
We are seeking a Head of Marketing for an 8-month maternity cover, with the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive impactful marketing campaigns on a global scale.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the marketing strategy of a prestigious, global membership body, enhancing engagement, awareness, and growth across our range of products and services.
They offer hybrid working which is one day a week onsite in the office and four days from home. The office is located in Princes Risborough.
Salary banding £60,000 - £66,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications and External Affairs to develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances our global value proposition and drives member engagement.
- Lead the marketing function across the organisation, ensuring consistency and alignment with the broader business goals.
- Shape marketing plans by consulting with internal and external stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities, and providing expert market intelligence.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, promoting products, services, and membership benefits to a global audience.
- Lead the management of digital platforms, including the website (content, navigation, SEO), to deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience.
- Maximise the return on marketing investments, ensuring campaigns align with organisational objectives and deliver measurable impact.
- Work with external agencies and third-party suppliers to produce high-quality marketing materials that resonate with members and stakeholders.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a talented marketing team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-impact campaigns and achieve key business objectives.
- Foster collaboration across departments, promoting cross-functional teamwork to ensure marketing efforts are fully integrated into the broader business strategy.
- Partner with the Head of Business Intelligence to leverage data and insights for optimising campaigns and improving marketing performance.
- Provide regular performance reports, analysing campaign effectiveness, return on investment, and member engagement, using these insights to inform future strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant marketing qualification (CIM or similar).
- 5-7 years of experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Proven ability to manage high-performing teams, with strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ideally you would have experience in non-for-profit, or membership organisations.
