This innovative, leading, global law firm pride themselves on being first-class in the professional services that they provide. Working closely with the firm's Associate Director, you will play a crucial part in evolving and delivering the firm's PR and Comms programme.
Based in a well-located central London office and offering flexible, agile working with excellent career prospects, you will be working with similar like-minded & creative individuals where the company culture is challenging and supportive.
As PR Specialist, you will:
- Create, plan and write press releases, pitches, articles and other communications content for use with the media.
- Work closely with key members of the press, external PR Agencies and senior stakeholders to ensure activities meet firmwide objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor editorial calendars of relevant publications and recommend opportunities to raise brand awareness and visibility of the firm.
- Act as a day to day point of contact with the Press and build and maintain media contact lists on their media database.
Key requirements:
- Strong relevant PR / communication experience, including experience in an in-house PR team of a large law firm
- Significant UK media contacts including UK legal media contacts as well as national and practice trade media contacts.
- An understanding of the UK legal media landscape
- Confident team player, able to work well and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
