Are you a Senior Account Executive in a PR agency, and have hit a glass ceiling and see no progression in your current company?
Are you an Account Manager that is not seeing any growth in their current agency and would like to join a thriving, ambitious and entrepreneurial business and work with clients in massive growth sectors?
EMR are working with a boutique public relations and communications agency who specialise in advising venture capital and private equity backed start ups and scaling organisations. They are working with some of the most exciting and up and coming brands in the UK. Due to growth and expansion, they are looking to hire an Account Manager, who will come on board and work with a range of clients, predominantly across technology.
Reporting into the Associate Director, and working closely with the Founder & CEO, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, developing and executing strategic PR campaigns, and maintaining and developing strong relationships with key media and stakeholders. You will have an eye for storytelling, and will possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record in delivering high-impact PR results. You will have previous experience of either working with technology focused clients, or smaller start up organisations.
In addition to your base salary, as the newly appointed PR Account Manager you will enjoy the following benefits :
- Hybrid working- 2 days a week in the office (Tuesday being the core day)
- Core hours between 9.30am & 5.30pm with earlier start and finish times if needed to fit around personal obligations.
- 4.5 day working week (Half day on Friday).
- 25 days holiday excluding Xmas.

As the new PR Account Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include :
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met along with developing strong and trusted relationships.
- Develop and implement creative and effective PR campaigns tailored to each client's goals and objectives.
- Identify media opportunities to enhance your clients reputation and creating awareness of their brand and products.
- Create press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the success of PR campaigns, and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists across a range of media outlets.
- Secure media coverage in top-tier outlets and trade and consumer publications.
To be considered for the PR Account Manager position, your background, experience will include :
- Minimum of 3 years experience gained in a PR or communications agency.
- A proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and delivering successful PR campaigns.
- Experience in securing media coverage in top-tier and trade publications.
- If you have worked with clients in the technology sector, or those organisations that are either start ups or scaling/growth phase, this would be preferable.
