Job Description
A B2B financial services provider is seeking an Event Assistant to assist the marketing team with the implementation of both in-person and digital events. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a marketing or junior events professional with 1-2 years of experience looking to specialise in events.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of a tactical annual events plan.
- Support both hosted and sponsored event marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Events Director to create detailed project plans covering all stages from concept through to planning, delivery, and post-event reporting and analysis.
- Assist with venue research, on-site branding, audio/visual setup, catering arrangements, registration, and post-event reporting.
- Work closely with the internal creative team by providing comprehensive event briefs for identity, design, and production of event collateral.
- Assist in drafting outreach materials (invitations, website copy, social media posts) and support the creation of pre- and post-event digital assets.
- Manage the tracking of event branded items, including but not limited to collateral and giveaways.
Requirements:
- Circa-1-2 years of B2B event marketing experience (either in-house or agency) is essential.
- Financial services experience would be desired but any corporate background would be considered.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- A history of effective interactions with diverse stakeholders is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Marketing Automation, event registration software (Cvent preferable), Canva, webinar software.
- UK experience is essential.
- No sponsorship given.
Salary: £30-35,000
