Leading FMCG business is looking for a commercial Marketing Manager to join their Refreshment team based in Leatherhead. This is a 12-month contract (maternity)

They are looking for someone who thrives in balancing brand, consumer, market and channels and who is an expert in turning strategy into reality.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be charged with identifying and exploiting new growth opportunities within their Ice-Cream Category - based on consumer needs, behaviors and beauty trends.
You pride yourself in both your creativity and your analytics.
You are hungry to understand all the nuances of new categories and emerging channels.
You have fun collaborating with & leading your cross-functional team & working together to deliver flawless launches.
You have strong commercial acumen and are comfortable working with customer teams to deliver against retailers' strategies.
You will work closely with the e-commerce and media teams to make things happen in new and creative digital ways.
You have a true passion for consumers, what resonates with them, what language can excite them, and what they are driven by and need.
You will lead & own marketing strategy, development & deployment of the UKI Ice-Cream business.
You will look after annual Brand Planning from Concept to Deployment and 12 Month Activity You will be responsible for Media/Consumer & Retailer/Shopper planning.
You will line manage four people.
ABOUT YOU:
- You will have a holistic marketing skill set, with as much passion for strategy & creative development as execution and financials with a focus on growth mindset & bias for action.
- You will have extensive experience of local & global marketing.
- You will have a strong commercial business mind-set and the ability to deliver on a P&L and make long term.
- You are a self-starter who takes the initiative to explore, make things happen and achieve results fast
- You understand the importance of building strong relationships with your key stakeholders, whether internal or external strategic decisions
- You will be a strong team leader/influencer - Building strong relationships within the global and local marketing teams & across functions as well as with Customer Development
