Working for a Global Professional Services Company you will be joining as their Head of Data and Analytics. This role is reporting directly to the COO and will see you running a team of analysts, Data architects and Data Scientists.

The Key areas that this role will cover are:

  • Advance Analytics and AI
  • Data Strategy and technology
  • Marketing analytics and market insights
  • MI and BI reporting
  • Data governance and policy
  • Team management, recruitment and development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with board members, and C-level executives and legal to establish vision, to govern and to create a culture that manages data as an enterprise asset.
  • Develop and implement the strategy for the use of data / data enrichment and analytics across the group, in association with the COO, CMO, and the CEO.
  • Research and develop new data products or services to expand markets, monetise data (directly and indirectly) and grow company revenue.
  • Be the corporate leader of data-driven insights that help support exploitation of strategic and tactical business opportunities, and be a champion for a data-driven, decision-making culture.
  • Ensure that the data used for financial reporting and to support legal requirements is valid, reliable, traceable, timely, available, secure and consistent.
  • Build an expert team of data analysts and scientists to drive value from our data. This twofold - a defensive strategy (internal levers and KPIs) and offensive strategy designed to support business objectives such as increasing revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

About you:

  • You will have proven experience 5+ in a Head of data and Analytics role or CDO role.
  • You will have a strong understanding on how to increase revenue through the use of data and how to monetise data and an asset.
  • Experience in reporting to the board and building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Have strong experience in understand the commercial advantages of using data and how to effectively implement your strategy
  • Knowledge of how to use marketing analytics and insights to drive customer growth
  • Strong understanding of data governance
