A small independent charity within education, are looking for an Event Manager (Venue Hire and Events) to join a driven commercial and marketing team.

The role:

  • Manage the venue-hire and event planning elements of the business
  • Manage the team that manages both commercial and charitable event planning
  • Source, recommend and secure appropriate new venue hire business, also lead on the strategic direction of business development

Required experience and skills:

  • A strong track record of success increasing venue hire income and business
  • Demonstrably strong event planning, production and coordination skills
  • Excellent financial management skills and people and performance management skills
  • First class written and verbal communication skills in English
