A leading global institution is looking for a number of Employee Communications professionals to join their Operations & Technology Employee Communications team based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be instrumental in shaping the communications function.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations & Technology (O&T).
  • Define stakeholders' communications requirements and provide them with strategic advice and counsel.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business' strategic goals, performance and audiences, and translate that knowledge into clear and compelling narrative and communications approaches.
  • Develop and own the end-to-end delivery of the communications strategies and plans across O&T in support of its business objectives, working closely with the Operations and Technology communications leads, and the communications business partner, to ensure alignment of approaches.
  • Develop and deliver leadership communication approaches to help senior stakeholders engage with their audiences, in alignment with the O&T Leadership Communications Programme.
  • Develop messages to bring the O&T story to life, in alignment with the O&T and company-wide narratives.
  • Develop channel approaches and plans that support the delivery of key strategic communications to the O&T audience.
  • Lead communications around change programmes within O&T, working closely with stakeholders, project teams and the Change Communications Lead, to deliver effective plans supported by compelling narratives.
  • Evaluate the reach, efficiency and effectiveness of approaches and channels in achieving strategic objectives, and recommend and implement improvements.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a range of communications disciplines, including in a dedicated internal/employee communications role, experience in a large national or global corporate organisation, experience of channels strategy and audience segmentation and experience in delivering change and crisis communications. You will also have experience in successfully influencing, managing and persuading stakeholders, planning, developing and delivering strategic employee communications and plans, and in managing creative agencies and suppliers. You will have excellent writing skills for a variety of audiences, channels and leadership styles, understanding of measurement approaches to assess effectiveness, and will be able to think creatively and solve problems with tight deadlines.
