Working for a global FTSE Professional services firm, you will be joining a rapidly growing data function. This growth is due to a large investment into the data team and will see you working with a newly appointed CDO.
They are in the beginning of their data journey and are currently in a stage of transformation and innovation. You will be a crucial part of this journey and will see you working in a data function of 25.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mapping and definition of the current & future data architecture states
- Vision, strategy and principles for data management
- Standards to support the full end to end data lifecycle
- Data elements of project and programme solution designs, participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment into various environments
- Liaising with key data stakeholders to execute on the wider data excellence strategy
- Working closely with wider architect community to ensure alignment and adoption of principles and frameworks
- Providing oversight and ensuring that all projects comply with defined data architecture principles.
About you:
You will have worked in a large organisation where you have had to deal with senior stakeholders (exec level)
- Experienced in data profiling and source system analysis. You can present clear insights to colleagues to support the end use of the data.
- You work with metadata repositories to complete complex tasks such as data and systems integration impact analysis
- Technical experience needed: - Salesforce data objects, experience with BusinessObjects Data Services and be capable of querying databases with T-SQL and PL/SQL. A deep understanding of the Azure Synapse business intelligence tooling will be highly advantageous
