If you have a strong PR, media relations or external communications background and are ready for your next contract role, this could be the next move for you!

Your responsibilities:

  • To develop, implement and evaluate an integrated regional PR campaign.
  • Secure impactful media coverage including launch moments, case study stories, interviews and news.
  • To secure positive, consistent and meaningful media coverage to raise awareness of local services and positioning the charity in a positive light.
  • To establish and maintain strong relationships with regional media and influencers.
  • To be the first port of call for all media enquiries, fulfilling journalist requests timely and accurately.

Your profile:

  • Excellent working knowledge of regional and local media and an understanding of national media.
  • Understanding of the tools required to work with local media.
  • An understanding of how PR campaigns work as part of wider marketing mix.
  • Good knowledge of reputation management.
  • Good knowledge of how to use social media networks to promote a brand and how to deal with reputational risk.
