Are you a senior public relations manager, with experience working for global businesses, open to joining the FTSE's only dedicated behavioural change and talent management consultancy?
EMR are working exclusively with one of the world's leading behavioural change, talent management and leadership consulting firms to recruit a senior global public relations manager in London.
The firm have worked with over half of the FTSE100 and S&P100 to redefine how companies develop leaders, manage performance, improve diversity & inclusion, attract talent and improve sales teams' revenues.
They are looking for a candidate who has experience in-house and agency-side for clients with exposure across EMEA and the US, and has a track record of generating Tier 1 and trade press coverage.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement an earned B2B PR & Communications strategy that generates coverage across Tier 1 and trade press outlets
- Relaunch the firm's brand globally with a clear communications plan for execution across key markets
- Capitalise on breaking news and trending topics to make the firm part of the conversation. Build strong narratives and concepts that will drive editorial media coverage
- Create thought leadership by liaising with internal subject matter experts and by conducting 3rd party research, with partner agencies
- Develop compelling written content for press releases, Q&As, talking points, briefings, and media pitches
- Secure speaking opportunities and media appearances for the firm's CEO and other senior leaders
- Communicate the firm's financial performance by partnering with the finance team and external agencies on key quarterly and annual results
Your key skills and experience will include:
- A proven track record generating high profile PR coverage for B2B brands across Tier 1 and trade media
- Significant B2B PR & Communications experience, preferably for both agency and in-house, across EMEA & US
- A skilled writer, you are comfortable developing content for a variety of channels such as thought leadership, blogs, Q&As, reports etc.
- An ability to conceptualise newsworthy moments and develop story idea that land great coverage
- A great 'black book' of media and agency contacts
- CIPR or PRCA membership with a relevant qualification in journalism, marketing, media, PR, or similar experience
- Recent experience pitching into business and HR trade publications would be a bonus
