An iconic global food brand is looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Manager for their newly opened UK office.
You will be responsible for executing and managing all local Purchasing activities related to Indirect Material Categories (i.e. Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Technological and Telecommunication Services, Benefits & Services for Employees, Consultancy, Service & Office Supply, Utility, HR, Finance & Admin).
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute local market analysis and scout local suppliers base
- Conduct negotiations and contracting as per defined purchasing guidelines
- Monitor recurring spot buys to reduce them
- Manage local suppliers evaluation
- Manage efficiency/saving calculation and manage supplier relationships for efficiency
- Collect Purchase Requisition (PR) for local user requestors
- Communicate to Central Purchasing online tendering opportunities that could be managed centrally
- Responsible for implementing local Purchasing Strategies in line with Central Purchasing indications
- Bring ideas forward when it comes to Technology.
Key Requirements:
- Experience of Purchasing within a Tech, Digital or E-Commerce business
- Forward thinking when it comes to technology, digital marketing/E-commerce
- Self-starter and confident to get on with it
- Entrepreneurial & adaptable
- Networking, influencing & negotiating skills.
