My client is an online consumer brand with international presence, looking for a Press Officer to join the Marketing and Communications team in their stunning and ultra-cool London Head Office.

This role would be an ideal next step for a talented communications individual with minimum two years experience, looking to join an exciting business with plenty opportunities for development and progression.

Main responsibilities:

  • Press office management incl. responding to journalists request and queries
  • Composing press releases and media alerts
  • Assisting the Communications Manager in writing and researching various media materials incl. articles, features, documents etc.
  • Blog management incl. setting weekly themes, creating and publishing enticing material
  • Managing freelancers
  • Team administration incl. coordinating the execution of campaign activities and press campaigns
  • Monitoring media results
  • Tracking competitors' activity
  • Supporting the Communications Manager with brand and industry events

Required experience:

  • Minimum two years PR experience (agency or in-house)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience in planning and executing consumer facing PR campaigns
  • Passionate about building strong relationships with media
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Tech savvy, comfortable working with data
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Ambitious wit high levels of drive and self- motivation
