Responsibilities

Membership Manager

Acquisition and retention

  1. Manage membership enquiries.

  1. Target email databases to recruit new members.

  1. Working with the Head of Event Management and Marketing to create the membership strategy

  1. Develop and manage direct marketing campaigns to recruit new members and retain existing ones.

  1. Process membership applications, renewals and payments

  1. Prepare and send out welcome packs to new members.

  1. Optimise retention rates by ensuring regular communication to members.

Database, marketing and communications

  1. Devise new digital and print marketing campaigns.

  1. Produce quarterly newsletter

  1. Ensure membership webpage content is accurate and up to date.

  1. Work on social media campaigns.

  1. Manage and replenish stock of marketing materials and membership pack collateral.

  1. Liaise with external suppliers on design and production of membership marketing materials

Finance, database and reporting

  1. Prepare and input data required

  1. Accurately capture member details and update database as required.

  1. Produce regular reports on membership sales and renewals

  1. Process requests for refunds if applicable.

  1. Alert the Finance Department of any default payments.

  1. Manage Gift Aid declaration forms.

Events

  1. Create and manage a membership events calendar.

  1. Organise and manage member events, sometimes working out of the general working
