A new role has been created for a skilled Head of Marketing to join a well-respected International automotive (B2B & B2C) retailer, located in leafy Surrey.

The role of the Head of Marketing is both broad and immensely challenging and will manage a team of 10 marketing, digital and communications staff. The head of Marketing will report to the wider European board and will be responsible for not only leading the marketing and communications team but also setting / running the overarching marketing strategy for the business on a pan European basis.

Other key duties will include :

- Running the full marketing mix

- Definition of a new brand strategy and identity

- Development of a digital marketing strategy

- Working closely with sponsorship partners to maximise ROI

- Management of external agencies and 3rd party suppliers, + negotiation of any new agreements

- Management of the annual marketing budget and advertising spend

Working closely with the leadership and commercial team, the Head of Marketing will play a key part in the continued development of the brand in the UK and Europe. Prior demonstrable experience in the Automotive sector is essential as is staff leadership / management and exposure to running a large multi-million £ P&L.
