Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an engaging and thought leading programme of events and initiatives to improve customer loyalty / retention
- Provide support to strategic clients on the development and implementation of engaging employee wellbeing strategies
- Support our internal engagement efforts including internal communications and leadership events
- Lead a team to develop an events strategy that promotes and champions all business lines and products in the portfolio
- Lead the design and delivery of our external and internal events and ensure they are delivered within the agreed timescales and budgets
- Research and recommendation of venues, logistics and delivery of events and ongoing promotions, including the annual Commercial Conference and Awards Dinner within the agreed budget and engage key stakeholders within the business in order to gain support all events activity
- As well as this you will create targeted briefing packs, speaker notes to ensure the successful delivery of events
Requirements:
- Ideally educated to degree level, or equivalent, with at least strong commercial experience in B2B events ideally within the consumer or financial services sector
- Experience of delivering an events portfolio for a well-recognised corporate
- Experience of successfully leading a team to plan and deliver corporate events
- A high degree of energy, drive and enthusiasm.
- Excellent project management, planning and organisational abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of bringing others along with them
- Creative experience and flair and a strong understanding and empathy with Brand values
- Experience in managing and developing budgets
