Working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications, the Digital Communications Manager will support the development and implementation of the companies strategic plans for digital marketing communications to drive engagement, member acquisition, cross-sell, loyalty and retention - dovetailing with existing offline communications to create a true multi-channel customer experience.
The Digital Communications Manager will be responsible for the design, content and effective measurement of all digital communications and the clients websites across all territories with a focus on revenue, traffic and customer experience.
As a pivotal role within Marketing Communications, the Digital Communications Manager will partner and influence cross-functionally with other teams to identify and develop new and innovative methods of digital communications to maximise value; contributing to all Member Engagement strategies.
The Digital Communications Manager will lead and manage and develop the Digital Communications Team, managing throughput of work, setting priorities and anticipating challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the development and implementation of strategic plans for digital marketing communications and customer experience
- Commercially driving customer engagement programs, with a focus on revenue and traffic to increase customer conversion on the website
- Planning, development and execution of compelling e-mail, social media and digital campaigns for all territories
- Regularly evaluating and testing new and innovative communications tactics and channels, documenting the results and sharing best practices with the team
- Supporting the Commercial Team with channel development from concept to commercialisation through digital channels
- Working cross functionally with Commercial, translating priority member segmentation needs into effective inspiring digital communications with detailed plans that include site development, enhancements to drive engagement & usage and new assets that support our multi-channel ambition
Managing data analysis and metrics to measure the performance of sales- and traffic-driving initiatives plus regular use of such data to guide decisions and recommendations
- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
- A thorough understanding of best practice principles and technology enablers in relation to digital communications and digital communications trends
- Revenue responsibility & accountability for cost management and reduction
- Strong process/project management skills
- Experience of managing multi-channel, multi-country campaigns & working across multiple territories
