My client, one UK's best known telco companies, is on a lookout for a talented Communications Manager to join the Consumer Communications and Marketing team based in Central London.

This exciting role will focus on driving strategic consumer communications campaigns and will suit an existing communications manager or a senior comms executive ready for a step up.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic communications programmes, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications
  • Ensure effective and positive media/press coverage through smooth press office and media enquiries management, developing key media relations and crisis management
  • Manage PR and other partner agencies and PR and social media budget
  • Develop and implement social media strategy in line with the brader marketing and comms strategy
  • Direct management of Communications Executive
  • Work closely with other team members of the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring consistency of the brand message
  • Develop close working relationships with a number of internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in B2C communications and PR management
  • Experience in delivering integrated PR and social media campaigns
  • Creative story teller with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Senior stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Strategic thinker with hands on approach
  • Experience in project management
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in budget management
  • Experience in line management of more junior colleagues
