A leading specialist insurance and reinsurance broker is looking for a Bid Executive to support the Bid Manager in achieving business retention and growth.

Main responsibilities

Project management in the tender/bid management process to ensure effective planning, resource coordination and timely delivery of the end result, more specifically:

  • Understand the requirements of the RFP to identify key words/message
  • Assist the Bid Manager in undertaking research on the client /prospect to establish the Unique Value Proposition
  • Assist the Bid Manager to review competitor strategies and materials to ensure 'best in class' practice
  • Work closely with the Bid Manager to provide strategic and tactical input to Business Units in developing effective sales strategies
  • Draft report, proof read, check for consistency and suggest areas of improvement
  • Coordinate the document design and production process with external agencies
  • Maintain a central library database of useful report content and materials archives

Key Skills:

  • 2-3 years experience as a Bid Executive for either an insurance, construction or professional services company
  • experience of managing a tender from start to finish
  • experience of writing content and design (showing creativity)
  • deadline orientated
