ANDIE Case Study

ANDIE are the European subsidiary of Asia’s largest insurer, providing both retail and corporate insurance products. ANDIE was formed in 2010 following the merger of Aioi and Nissay Dowa. ANDIE now operate in 10 countries and are the leaders in motor focused insurance.

Due to an acquisition in early 2015 the existing General Marketing Manager was moving on to a new opportunity. After an internal review of the role ANDIE decided to widen the remit of the position and required the assistance of a number of recruitment agencies as their direct efforts were not producing the right calibre of candidates. ANDIE prefer to work on a contingent basis which meant that the role was highly competitive between a number of professional recruitment businesses.

Having a strong network of active candidates in the market, EMR produced a shortlist of candidates to ANDIE within one day and continued to source for the role. With an experienced candidate in mind that had a real interest in the role, and strong experience working within Telematics, our leading consultant put forward the candidate to ANDIE. Within 3 weeks the role was filled following 7 candidates receiving first interviews; 3 second interviews and 1 candidate going to final, against another recruitment agency.

Following a successful final stage interview the candidate was offered the role and accepted. EMR are now working on filling further roles within ANDIE.
