AVP Investor Relations

This is a great opportunity to join the Investor Relations team of a well known global FTSE 100 listed organisation in the financial services space.

Main responsibilities include:

Sell side Management, including Consensus (30%)

• Part of the team liaising with sell-side analysts
• Responsibility for managing consensus model, a high profile exercise with senior management internally and the market externally

Results and other disclosure (30%)

• Provide support for results process - with responsibility for preparing investor presentations, plus briefing materials for senior management, in particular the Q&A preparation materials and back up documentation
• Provide support for seminars and conferences, which will include preparation of tailored presentations and other materials

Shareholder Management (20%)

• Assist with management of equity investors - both key shareholders and target investors
• Ensure proactive information flow to IR Managers
• Prepare and deliver periodic (both regular and ad hoc) management Information
• Help with shareholder analysis and targeting

Other (20%)

• Liaise with corporate brokers to obtain market feedback and intelligence on trading in our shares and to input to our investor targeting
• Provide data research and analysis support to Investor Relations Directors and other members of IR team including research on competitor organisations
• Gather, review and distribute relevant equity research, including weekly/monthly summaries of market activity and reaction for Senior Executives and Board reports
• Website - review content of website and attachments prior to release
• Review of shareholder briefing material for Senior Executives
• Ongoing responsibility for efficient use of shareholder database

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running. You will be expected to use your previous Investor Relations, equity analyst, banking or broking experience to be instrumental in the Investor Relations function. With excellent analytical skills you will have good financial literacy, along with the gravitas to influence and communicate at a very senior level. Ideally you will be ACA or CFA qualified.
