Portfolio Management and Development

  • Manage and extend a portfolio of client relationships, designed to generate new income growth o Provide continuity in existing relationships o Identify and develop new relationships and opportunities for corporate support, including licensing
  • Identify client needs and re-energise relationships to ensure maximum annual revenue
  • Research of marketplace for sponsorship, both competitive and business development; research and target companies to develop new prospects
  • Recommend a strategic approach to the identification of new corporate prospects and instigate and develop relationships with new donors and sponsors within agreed guidelines, to instigate and conduct negotiations with companies in the creation of unbudgeted strategic projects
  • Project manage new and existing relationships with clients, across corporate donors and sponsors, including larger corporate projects and accounts, to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous growth and development
  • Liaise with relevant Departments around project specific partnerships to ascertain the business case for corporate support
  • Develop and enable sponsorship and fundraising strategy as required

Design and Delivery

  • Create, prepare and promote immaculate proposals and sponsorship packages and partnerships for projects, presenting tailored solutions where required
  • Match projects and packages to client needs and tailor existing packages as required to ensure successful sales of packages, including Production Sponsorship, touring packages and hospitality programmes
  • Develop a good understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital marketing and the use of metrics, and incorporate this in the design of proposals and packages
  • Prepare sponsorship contracts and letters of agreement for sponsors
  • Work to best practice methods, for data gathering and provide detailed analysis on key sponsorship success metrics, including digital marketing
  • Liaise with corporate and business clients to deliver and service the programme of benefits according to the terms defined in the contract; in particular to supervise and organise the sponsor's hospitality arrangements and marketing and PR benefits, by liaising with departments including, Audiences and Media, Digital Development and Technology, Collections, catering, security, management and the performing Companies
  • Identify relevant information from our corporate and business clients to ensure responsive service delivery and assist the researchers with data flow for updating the corporate records on our database as well as feeding into the Events Diary. This is to include holds on tickets and hospitality spaces and sponsorship credits on marketing materials and publications
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required in and above the position.
