An exciting opportunity has arisen for an interim Social Media Manager to join a London based Engineering consultancy.

Reporting into the Head of Online, the successful candidate will have the below responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Plan social media campaigns
  • Create and publish content
  • Develop campaign reports, presenting analysis/insight around performance.
  • Managing social media agency
  • Working closely with the core marketing managers to understand delivery plans, developing social media campaigns
  • Monitoring trends in online community tools, social media marketing and applications
  • Devising and executing strategies to grow and engage our target audience across core social channels in multiple countries
  • Planning, implementing and managing a social media budget, reporting on the performance of spend based on key metrics
  • Creating and developing engaging content across all channels
  • Managing paid social campaigns for channel growth and engagement

Skills/Experience

  • Perfect knowledge of social media ecosystems
  • Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram experience
  • Strong project management, planning and attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of SEO, PR and Marketing
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in social media or equivalent
  • Client side experience
  • Copy writing expertise essential
  • Ability to grow audiences and engagement on the main social channels
  • Ability to demonstrate identification of trending topics and how content is amplified across social media channels to create engagement
  • Meticulous attention to detail that will ensure the production of high quality, orginal and unique content
  • Results driven
