This company operates in 18 markets and will see your main focus being the USA and UK.

The choice to bring this role in-house means that you are going to be an expert within the SEO space, you will need to be confident in developing the search strategy as well as carrying out implementation. This role will see you managing a team under you in the near future which you will help recruit, training and develop.

This is an exciting role for someone who is really searching for that next role to challenge and build their career with. This role will see you have a lot of decision making opportunity that will directly impact the success

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing effective organic search strategies.
  • Keyword expansion research to guide content team, and use said research to optimise website content and landing pages.
  • Coordinate with content, design, social media and PPC teams to ensure consistent approach to our organic marketing.
  • Lead the execution of all strategies, including recruiting and training junior team members and specialists.
  • Take ownership of analysing performance data received from SEMrush & GSC, using findings to inform strategy.
  • Undertake market research and competitor analysis in order to gain insights into the competitive landscape and devise strategies to remain competitive.
  • Work collaboratively across the wider marketing team and apply own expertise to achieve commercial success.
  • Review technical SEO issues and recommend/implement fixes.
  • Directly work to improve our Digital PR and link-building opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience and knowledge in using SEMrush or similar, to monitor SEO performance.
  • Experience in both the USA and UK markets.
  • Knowledge of current organic best practices.
  • Highly knowledgeable about the e-commerce market.
  • Highly knowledgeable about Google Search Console, including legacy webmaster tools.
  • Analytically minded, excellent attention to detail, proficient in analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Data Studio.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree with outstanding results.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in search engine optimisation with outstanding performance.
