A well-established consumer finance company is looking for an SEO Manager to join their Marketing team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, devising and implementing unique SEO strategies. It's the perfect position for someone to work in an iconic organisation with over 300 years of history where they can liaise with internal and external teams to create and implement successful strategies.

Key Responsibilities of the SEO Manager:

  • Manage all aspects of SEO including, on-site techniques, link building, blogging, online PR, content marketing, and technical SEO
  • Support the implementation of SEO technical outcomes
  • Manage a team of SEO support functions such as copywriter, content manager, and web editor
  • Liaise with the business unit, social media, and PR teams to create an effective SEO strategy for a range of platforms
  • Regularly devise reports on SEO performance for the Business Unit
  • Create and manage the SEO activity plan ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders

Key Skills of the SEO Manager:

  • Someone with over 5 years of SEO experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the latest SEO and algorithm updates
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Able to deliver high performance SEO strategies
  • Experience working in client-facing roles
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills
