An exciting Senior Digital Content Manager opportunity has arisen to join a leading not-for-profit organisation with a commercial drive, ethical outlook and vibrant culture.

This position will be well suited to someone who is passionate about content and organic search - SEO, working and collaborating within a large digital team and enjoys innovating.

As Senior Digital Content Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • A lead user for the CMS, guiding component and template developments in collaboration with UX teams, development teams and third party suppliers
  • Ensure all digital web content is created to the highest quality, in line with content purpose, brand and tone of voice
  • Drive ongoing optimisation of content, with a focus on SEO (technical and content), information architecture and design, A/B multivariate testing
  • Lead and manage a team including resource planning, content creators plus external agencies relationships
  • Manage budgets and contracts, ensuring value for money is obtained and work is completed to high standards on time and to cost.

This is a company who really values people, they require an individual who has:

  • At least five years' experience in a digital content production and management role
  • Proven experience of leading a large operational content team and collaborating with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of digital web optimisation running A/B multivariate tests and other content testing methods
  • A high-standard of editorial judgement, online copywriting and sub-editing
  • Proven expert knowledge of SEO techniques and tools including Search Console and Searchmetrics
