An exciting opportunity for an Interim Public Relations Manager to join a global Professional Services firm.

This role has overall responsibility for the external and internal communications for the UK and Europe as well as playing a role in global communications.

The candidate will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for the firm to journalists and have responsibility for the day-to-day management of relationships with the media.
  • You will build relationships with the senior management team and advise and influence how they conduct internal and external communications.
  • Work closely with the UK PR team to identify and suggest opportunities for external profile-raising in line with the firm's strategic plan
  • Work closely with the Internal Communications Adviser to support the execution of the internal communications strategy globally and for the UK.
  • Work with the Global Head of communications on firm wide corporate communications and issues/crisis management.
  • Be expected to give strategic advice and support, where appropriate, to our PR teams in Asia, Middle East, Australia and Africa.
  • Liaise with partners and business development colleagues globally to play a co-ordinating role on major communications projects.

Essential Skills

  • Significant experience with a well-established track record in PR or journalism.
  • Professional Services Background
  • Good written communication skills, in terms of preparing media ready material and communicating effectively with the partnership
  • Effective presentation skills - the candidate will operate as an ambassador of the firm and will need to be persuasive in dealings with partners
  • Experience of planning and implementing PR campaigns
