  • Plan and implement improvements to drive improved effectiveness and cost efficiencies for the respective marketing program
  • Develop a set of workflows, documentation, reporting, schedules and service level agreements to support ongoing communication needs.
  • Drive forward the development and implementation of a robust contact strategy that will enable us to effectively meet our business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the development of a strong high performance culture within the Marketing Communications function
  • Ensure effective cost management and control of campaign budget
  • Ensure competitor learnings are embedded as part of the drive to ensure creative differentiation and excellence
  • Proactively identify, plan and implement cost savings and improvements to creative and processes
  • Oversee campaign and workflow-specific editorial calendars, including scheduled send times, input and approval dates and other key time-based responsibilities for activity
  • To liaise and work closely with all relevant partner agencies and third party suppliers to deliver marketing excellence, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and agree an effective Communications Calendar to support all business objectives.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of campaigns according to the Communications Calendar, on time and to budget.
  • Ensure delivered campaigns form industry best practice and meet the customer-centric needs of the business.
  • Understand the commercial agenda and how campaigns contribute to it.
  • Seek continual improvement in communication quality by ensuring campaigns are regularly reviewed and learnings implemented.


  • Proven experience of leading the planning, build, delivery and reporting of multi-variant direct response marketing activities across multiple channels including direct mail, email, SMS and display advertising.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of advertising, direct and digital marketing across multiple routes to market.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering world class marketing communications campaigns across multiple touch points and customer segments.
  • Proven experience of managing internal and external partnership agencies.
  • Experience of managing teams working within an Agile project management environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple assignments across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience of using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Management Platforms (DMP) is highly desirable Ability to provide best practices guidance related to current email, interactive, cross-channel marketing trends.
  • UK experience is essential.
