One of London's most famous luxury department stores is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager for 6-12 months to develop, implement & manage campaigns to support the busy and diverse annual marketing calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage campaigns to support the busy and diverse annual marketing calendar, increasing brand relevancy & visibility to drive footfall to the department stores retail stores & shopper restaurants, supporting the ultimate goal of increasing revenue.
  • Deliver marketing objectives through a programme of loyalty campaigns, with investment and effort aligned to commercial opportunity, ensuring cohesive cross-channel activation & on brand creative execution.
  • Support & direct the PR & Marketing Exec in the delivery of brand-building & footfall-driving in-store events, aligned with the overall marketing calendar.
  • Support the development of tactical plans to support underperforming categories or departments.
  • Ensure all Retail and Hospitality initiatives are joined up, cohesive in approach and communicated well in advance of execution.
  • Work with Brand Comms and Buying to ensure all POS and signage makes sense to the customer, whilst driving footfall flow through stores and work to deliver efficiencies within all processes.
  • Support the Head of Marketing & Online with ad hoc retail-focused promotional activities and opening of satellite retail ops or pop up stores.
  • Work with external operating partners to ensure all footfall-driving opportunities are exploited.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • A skilled Retail Marketing professional, with demonstrable experience in planning and executing marketing activity which connects the product to the Brand and Communications at retail and with a passion for food, drink and luxury goods.
  • Collaborative, considered and adaptable manager, with gravitas and the ability to influence at a senior level and across disciplines and staff of all levels.
  • Tenacious, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational & project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Creative flair tempered with commercial acumen, numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Educated to degree level, in marketing or a related subject.
  • Experience of managing a team successfully.
  • Strong agency and budget management skills.
