Exciting, varied and social Project Management role support the Group marketing and digital team.

The position is with a leading international property consultancy with global 400 offices that offers both agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors.

You will report into the Group Head of Marketing Communications and Digital and maintain a very close working relationship with the new Project Management Office lead, who is responsible for delivering the portfolio of all Marcomms change projects that develop the operational capability and quality of service of the department.

This is a pivotal role within the marketing department and will involve supporting multiple teams across Brand, Residential, Commercial, International, Internal Communications, External Communications and of course, Digital.

You will be the key interface between Marcomms and the new PMO, which is a fundamental part of a new operational model of the firm.

With a passion for project management best practice and principles, you will be the driving force managing the required programmes associated with increasing the level of sophistication and efficiency of the service that Marcomms provides to the firm and to clients through projects, campaigns, initiatives and events, within the allocated timeframe and budget.

Responsibility Overview:

  • Using the firm's project methodology and tools, implementing governance standards for the department's portfolio of projects; this includes tracking, monitoring, issue resolution and where necessary, escalation
  • Working with Marcomms team heads to identify project benefits and track the realisation of those benefits and the quality of the overall project delivery
  • Supporting Marcomms team heads in project planning, including milestone and scope management
  • Delivering risk and issue management across the entire portfolio of projects including maintaining and co-ordinating input into the firm-wide RAID log
  • Developing full project budgets and resource plans and providing financial information and KPIs to the Marcomms leadership and Operations Board via the PMO
  • Overseeing programme costs for the portfolio and ensuring that finances are well managed by project managers
  • Resource forecasting and identifying backfill requirements where necessary
  • Developing and maintaining the full suite of management and documentation and reporting to be used with the Marcomms leadership and Operations Board and other boards as required by the individual projects

Skills, Traits and Experience:

  • Appreciable experience as a Project Manager, and of operating PM processes (e.g. reporting, planning & control, financials, RAIDs)
  • You will also need marketing knowledge and be used to working alongside marketing, communications and/or digital professionals to deliver significant and varied projects, with robust milestone and scope management
  • You will be used to operating autonomously in large, complex, and fast paced business transformation programmes, ideally with experience of both Business Change projects, as well as Technology transformation in a professional services environment
  • You will also have domain experience; working knowledge of project/programme management methodologies and ideally an industry recognised qualification, (e.g. PRINCE2, P3O, MSP). The ability to coach others in adopting project methodologies in the delivery of business improvement activities
  • Someone with excellent organisational skills able to manage multiple projects at once
  • A collaborative and engaging approach with exceptional influencing skills
  • Fantastic attention to detail
